January holidays 2024-2025 will no longer be the same as before

The Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation has approved a new schedule of holidays and weekends for 2024 and 2025.
According to this schedule, the New Year holidays in 2025 will last from December 29, 2024 to January 8, 2025. This will give citizens the opportunity to spend more time with family and loved ones.
The May holidays will be divided into two periods: from 1 to 4 May and from 8 to 11 May. This will allow us to celebrate both Spring and Labor Day and Victory Day.
Also, December 31, 2025 will be declared a day off, which will provide an opportunity to prepare for the New Year.
There will be several official holidays in 2025:
- from January 1 to January 7—New Year holidays;
- from February 22 to 23 – Defender of the Fatherland Day;
- from 8 to 9 March – International Women's Day;
- from May 1 to May 4 – Spring and Labor Day;
- from 8 to 11 May – Victory Day; from 12 to 15…
