Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva will be the host of the festival of contemporary music “New song of the year“, reports Sports.kz with reference to Championat.com.
The athlete reported this on social networks. The event will take place on December 8 in Moscow.
Camila is not taking part in competitions after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) banned her for four years for violating anti-doping rules. The deadline is counted from December 25, 2021.
From the same date, all the athlete’s results at tournaments, including the Olympic Games in Beijing, were annulled. Thus, the skater will be able to return to competitions at the end of 2025. Now Camila performs only in ice shows.
