Kazakh boxer defeated the ring owner and took a medal at the Asian Championship – Boxing/MMA
Kazakh boxer Orazbek Asykulov fought his second fight at Asian Championship 2024 in Chiang Mai (Thailand), Sports.kz reports.
He competed in the 1/4 finals of the up to 57 kg weight category, where his opponent was the representative of the host country of the competition, Panuwat Chujanath. The result of the confrontation was Askylov’s victory by unanimous decision. Thus, he reached the semi-finals, guaranteeing himself at least a bronze medal, while Chujanath was forced to end his performance at the 2024 Championship.
Let us remind you that at the stage of the 1/8 finals, Orazbek Askylov defeated Malaysian Mohamad Zulkhailan by technical knockout in the second round.
