Kazakh man beat ex-UFC fighter from Russia – Boxing/MMA

Kazakh fighter Asylzhan Bakytzhanuly (15-4-1) performed at the Russian promotion tournament “Our Business“, reports Sports.kz.

Bakytzhanuly fought in an intermediate weight fight with Russian Shamil Gamzatov (14-2). This fight was held according to MMA rules and was designed for three rounds. The fight lasted the entire allotted distance and ended with the victory of the Kazakhstani by unanimous decision of the judges – 29-28, 29-28, 29-28.

Thus, Asylzhan Bakytzhanuly won the sixteenth victory in his professional career and successfully debuted in the “Our Business” promotion, and Shamil Gamzatov suffered his third defeat. Let us add that Gamzatov previously fought in the UFC – the Russian had two fights in the world's largest league – one victory and one defeat.
