Kazakh wrestler tops world rankings – Wrestling

Kazakh Greco-Roman wrestler Erzhet Zharlykasyn became a leader United World Wrestling (UWW) rankings in the weight category up to 63 kilograms, Sports.kz reports.

Zharlykasyn rose to first place after winning a silver medal at the World Championships in non-Olympic weight categories in Tirana (Albania). In the final, Erzhet lost to Azerbaijani Nikhat Mammadli, but he takes second place in the updated ranking of 63 kg: Zharlykasyn has 47,000 points, Mammadli has 45,000 points. Armenian Karen Aslanyan closes the top three strongest wrestlers in this weight category – he has 31,000 points.
