Kazakhstani became world champion in functional all-around – Others
Kazakh athlete Roman Dzhantleyev became the world champion in functional all-around, Sports.kz reports with reference to “24KZ”.
The athlete was awarded the gold medal on Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Valentin Lukanovsky also reached the top 7 of the championship in his age category. The Kazakhstani showed an excellent result in the largest category, where more than 50 people competed. Another Kazakh athlete Maksat Ospanov, having won 3 out of 6 tests, performing for the first time at competitions of this level, took 12th place.
The World Functional All-Around Championships were held in Budapest. More than 800 athletes from 40 countries competed for the title of the best on the planet.
