Kazakhstani Arina Ilyashchenko won a silver medal at the junior stage World Cup in speed skating in Tomaszow Mazowiecki (Poland), Sports.kz reports with reference to Olympic.kz.
The athlete showed the second best result at a distance of 500 meters, completing it in 41.30.
The first place went to the Italian Giorgia Aielo – 40.16. Marlin Ehseluns (Germany) closed the top three with 41.37.
Let us add that earlier at the EKM Ilyashchenko won bronze as part of the women’s team.
