Kazakh fans will not be able to purchase tickets online for Australian Open 2025reports Sports.kz with reference to the “Championship”.
The competition organizers decided to limit the purchase of tickets to Russians and therefore blocked confirmation with the telephone code +7. However, they did not take into account that the telephone numbers of Kazakhstanis also begin with this code.
“In response to requests from Kazakh users to correct the situation, the competition organizers said that they could not solve this problem, because if the +7 code is unlocked, users not only from Kazakhstan, but also from Russia will be able to pay for purchases,” the source notes.
