Kazakhstan's start to the United Cup turned into a disaster – Tennis

Kazakhstan national team unsuccessfully started the confrontation with Spain on United Cup – tournament among mixed teams in Sydney and Perth (Australia)reports Sports.kz.

The first to take to the court were Kazakhstani Alexander Shevchenko (78th place in the ATP rankings) and Spanish athlete Pablo Carreno Busta (196th place). The result of the match was a major victory for Carreno Busta in two sets – 6:2, 6:1. The meeting lasted 1 hour and 4 minutes.

Let us remind you that the Kazakhstanis were in group “C” together with Spain and Greece. Elena Rybakina, Zhibek Kulambaeva, Alexander Shevchenko, Dmitry Popko and national team captain Alexander Nedovesov will play as part of the national team at the tournament.
