Kirov investigators are finding out the details of the fire that claimed the lives of mother and son

Investigators reported new details of the fatal fire that occurred in the Orichevsky district. The tragedy was commented on by the investigative department of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Kirov region.

The department confirmed the death of two people and named the age of the victims: the mother was 76 years old, her son was 55 years old. Investigators also reported that the fire could have been caused by careless handling of fire while smoking while intoxicated.

Investigators are carrying out a set of verification measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident, stated the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region.
