Kirov residents were told the reason for traffic jams at the intersection of Shchorsa and Proizvodnaya streets

The authorities responded to Kirov residents who were outraged by large traffic jams in front of one of the key intersections in the city. The comment was published by the press service of the mayor's office.

According to the city administration, on the night of Wednesday, December 25, “planned modernization work” was carried out at the intersection of Shchorsa and Proizvodstvennaya streets.
The contractor replaced the controller in the traffic lights. This caused a technical problem that significantly shortened the green light interval.

The mayor's office reported that it was for this reason that Kirov residents for a long time could not pass the intersection during the morning rush hour. The authorities instructed the contractor to correct the defect by returning the traffic lights to their previous mode on Wednesday, December 25. Traffic at the intersection will be reorganized in accordance with the project.
