Kirov residents were warned of penalties for violating the law on childfree propaganda

The authorities of the Kirov region reminded residents of the region about the ban on childfree propaganda. Details about the new rules were provided at the press center of the regional government.

On Tuesday, November 12, State Duma deputies voted to approve the law banning childfree propaganda in the second and third readings. The new norm implies restriction of agitation against family, children and “traditional values.” Large fines are provided for violating the ban.

Thus, an ordinary person who publicly speaks out for abandoning family and children can be fined up to 50 thousand rubles. In this case, the official may be punished four times more severely – up to 200 thousand rubles. At the same time, a legal entity for violating the new law faces a fine of up to 5 million rubles.
