Konami remade Metal Gear Solid 3 because younger generations don't know about the series
Noriaki Okamura is concerned that young people are not familiar with the legacy of Metal Gear.
Younger generations don't know about the Metal Gear games and don't even recognize the series' iconic characters like Solid Snake. It sounds funny, but this is Konami's official position on the reasons for creating the Metal Gear Solid Delta remake.
Project producer Noriaki Okamura gave an interview to Play magazine in which he said that Konami was inspired to make a remake of Snake Eater after realizing that an entire generation of players had already grown up and was not familiar with the Metal Gear series.
For Okamura personally, the main thing in the remake is not only to give a sense of nostalgia to old players, but also to show the legacy of the series to a new generation.
