The Russian army tried to damage the dam for three months.
Downstream from the damaged Terniv dam on Kurakhivskyi water arrives at the reservoir. Currently, the flooding of houses is not recorded. Due to constant shelling by the Russian military, it is not possible to inspect the hydrotechnical structure.
This was announced by the head of the Kurakhiv city military administration, Roman Padun, on the air “Suspilne. Studio”.
“We did not manage to leave and inspect this dam. Water continues to flow below the Terniv dam. There is no critical situation, there are no flooded houses yet,” he said.
Padun says that the Russian army tried to damage the dam for three months. In particular, KABs. According to the official, perhaps the dam is partially damaged, or one of the locks.
Currently, there is no threat of a complete leakage of water from the reservoir….
