Kyivans began to pay for electricity after blackouts for debts – Kyiv


As of today, residents of Kyiv owe more than 490 million hryvnias for electricity.

During 2024, the residents of Kyiv paid 193 million hryvnias after their electricity was cut off for arrears.

Since the Cabinet lifted the moratorium on disconnections for non-payment, YASNO has filed thousands of applications to disconnect customers who have systematically failed to pay their bills. As a result, Kyiv residents paid off 160 million hryvnias of debt, and also spent 33 million hryvnias on disconnection and reconnection services.
