Amounts for heating in Kyiv for November 2024 increased by 6.5% compared to the same period last year.
This was announced by the director of JV “Energozbut” of KP “Kyivteploenergo” Kostyantyn Lopatin during a briefing.
The reason is the lower average temperature, which was only 2.7°C in November this year, 1.4°C colder than in November 2023.
“It is the temperature of the outside air that is the main factor affecting the size of the heating bill,” Lopatin said.
According to the data, about 90% of Kyiv high-rise buildings are equipped with heat meters, and calculation is carried out according to actual consumption.
“In November of this year, the average cost of heating 1 sq. m was 24.35 hryvnias. Whereas in November last year it was 6.5% lower and amounted to 22.9 hryvnias,” he noted…
