Making laser weapons is now much easier than it was several decades ago, analysts say.
The necessary set of technologies for the production of a combat laser has already been developed and is available, and Ukrainian defense startups may well be able to conduct such developments, without the standard peacetime bureaucratic brakes. Defense Express analysts write about this, commenting on a certain skepticism in society regarding the possibility of producing a combat laser in Ukraine.
As is known, the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vadim Sukharevsky, stated that Ukraine is already testing a combat laser called “Trizub”. He also said that Ukraine has become the fifth country that has such weapons.
