Uzbek mixed martial arts fighter Shokhasan Mirzamatov threatened the league champion OctagonKazakhstani Georgy “Knight” KichiginSports.kz reports with reference to Meta-ratings.kz.
On December 29 in Tashkent, Mirzamatov knocked out Brazilian Pedro Farias in the first round, and then made a statement about his desire to fight with the current champion of the organization.
“February. I am ready to fight with the champion Kichigin. Let your jaw shake,” Mirzamatov said.
Note that Georgy Kichigin owns the Octagon League welterweight championship belt, and Shokhasan Mirzamatov (13-4) is number one in the rating and a contender for the title. Mirzamatov has a record of 13 victories, 11 of which he won by knockout and two by decision.
