Lowering the conscription age, demobilization and the situation at the front: a long interview with ex-head of the commissar Muzhenko
Pokrovsk has great risks of ending up in a blockade, which will lead to Ukraine losing the entire Donetsk region. At the same time, the Armed Forces remain in the Kursk region to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces during the presidency of Petro Poroshenko in 2014-19, now a leading researcher of the Central Research Institute of the Armed Forces, General Viktor Muzhenko in an interview with Radio Liberty.
According to him, now we can talk about demobilization only in theory, because in practice it is unrealistic. Moreover, Ukraine will eventually have to lower the mobilization age – the only question is when and by how much.
