Lowering the mobilization age in Ukraine

This was said by the representative of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, during the daily press briefing of the US State Department on December 9.
According to him, this position of Washington was conveyed to Kyiv.
“We talked with Kyiv about the situation unfolding in the east of Ukraine. Decisions about the number and composition of the armed forces are taken by Ukraine independently. What we can say for sure is that if they want to mobilize more troops, we and our allies will equip and train them ” said Miller.
