Lowering the mobilization age will not be considered – Venislavskyi


Russia is increasing mobilization at the expense of large payments and loan write-offs, so Ukraine cannot lower the mobilization age.

The Verkhovna Rada currently does not plan to consider a bill that would lower the upper age limit for mobilization men from 60 to 55 years old.

This was stated by a member of the Council's Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, People's Deputy “Servant of the People” Fedir Venislavskyi, informs “Ukrainian radio“.

He stated that it is currently difficult to talk about legislative initiatives that will lead to a decrease in the number of citizens who can be mobilized.

Venislavskyi stated that the enemy, on the contrary, is increasing mobilization efforts and encouraging citizens in monetary terms, as well as by writing off loan arrears. Russia is doing all this to increase the number of its own army.
