MegaFon has expanded 4G coverage for motorists and train passengers

MegaFon has increased the coverage of its fourth generation network along the transport arteries of the Kirov region. The operator's engineers have upgraded the equipment so that mobile Internet at speeds of up to 45 Mbit/s is available over a large area of ​​the Kirov-Malmyzh-Vyatskie Polyany highway and along the railway tracks in the direction of Nizhny Novgorod.

The operator has activated an additional low-frequency network layer, which provides an extended coverage radius of up to 10 km. This solution is especially relevant when it is necessary to increase the length of the network, as is the case with roads and railways.
