Mikhail Delyagin warned about the “zeroing” of Russians’ savings

If the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance are unable to control rising inflation by early 2025, the savings of Russian citizens will be at risk of further depreciation.
This forecast was presented by the famous Russian economist Mikhail Delyagin, reports DEITA.RU.
He noted that one of the main problems contributing to the growth of inflation in the country is that the federal budget for next year is drawn up taking into account low annual inflation and the Central Bank's target for 2025, which is only 4.5%.
However, as the government has already emphasized, by the end of this year inflation will be at least 8%, and most likely about 9%. If it is not possible to stop the rise in prices after the New Year, then the depreciation of Russians’ money will continue.
