Military aid announced during Zelenskyi's visit to the US is $8 billion more in financial terms than for the entire current year.

The cost of new packages of military aid from the United States, which the Biden administration wants to provide to Ukraine by January 20, may take into account the increase in the price of weapons, which is happening all over the world. Therefore, the amount of assistance packages may be somewhat smaller.

Defense Express military expert Ivan Kyrychevsky emphasized this on the air of the Espresso TV channel.

“Perhaps the cost of the package will reflect the increase in the cost of weapons. For example, one missile for MANPADS Stinger costs more than $ 1 million, although once upon a time it seemed that this is a cheap mass missile that can be written off at the final cost.
