Military personnel treated in civilian medical facilities will be fed according to NATO – Ministry of Defense standards


Deputy Minister of Defense Serhiy Melnyk assured that wounded defenders of Ukraine will receive improved nutrition in medical institutions, regardless of the form of ownership.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is implementing changes in the system of support for military personnel undergoing treatment or rehabilitation after injury. In particular, the Resolution of the CMU “improved the mechanism of providing improved food to servicemen in health care institutions of all forms of ownership”.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

The changes introduced by the resolution will allow to provide wounded soldiers with food that meets the standards of military medical institutions of NATO countries. At the same time, not only military hospitals, but also civilian hospitals that provide medical assistance to military personnel will be obliged to meet the standards.
