Mirage fighters – when Ukraine can receive planes
According to preliminary data, France should deliver six fighters in the first batch.
With positive forecasts, French Mirage fighters will enter service with the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during January-February 2025, writes Defense Express, commenting on the possible acceleration of the aircraft transfer process.
That is, it is assumed that, in the best case, the process of transferring the sides can speed up by a month or a month and a half.
“At the same time, as practice often shows, usually the deadlines in such cases are shifted “to the right” and not “to the left,” the publication added.
It is recalled that the head of the French defense department, Sebastien Lecornu, stated that Ukraine should expect Mirage aircraft in the first quarter of 2025. And then it was not ruled out that the delivery of vehicles could be extended until the end of March.
