If a person was given a fine for failure to appear at the TCC and he paid it, this does not mean that he does not need to join the army. Lawyer Larisa Kis spoke about this.
“Paying a fine does not relieve one from military service,” the expert told RBC-Ukraine.
According to her, paying the fine is only “fulfilling the obligation for a violation,” namely failure to appear on a summons on a certain date.
“Any other summons (summons to another date) and failure to appear on this date will be a new violation,” the lawyer said.
