Mobilization in Ukraine – Firsov opposed the conscription of 18-year-olds
Yehor Firsov is convinced that there are enough people in Ukraine who could replenish the Armed Forces.
There are enough people in Ukraine for mobilization, so there is no need to lower the conscription age to 18.
Egor Firsov, the chief sergeant of the BpLA shock company, stated this on Radio Svoboda.
Firsov opposed lowering the mobilization age to 18 years.
“I am against mobilizing 18-year-olds. We have enough people: athletes, policemen, other categories of the population who could replenish the Armed Forces,” the military man is convinced.
In this context, he gave the example of a gym in Kyiv, where he saw many burly men.
“When I was on vacation in Kyiv, I came to the gym, I didn't have a chance to park, there was nowhere to stand. It wasn't women who came. I went to the gym, every second or third person there is a stout man”, -…
