In 2025, mobilization will continue at least until the end of January. However, some men of military age have the right to a deferment from conscription, among whom are students of higher educational institutions.
Mobilization of students in Ukraine 2025 is not carried out if they meet several criteria. However, under certain conditions they can still be called up.
Which students are exempt from mobilization?
Male students receive a deferment from conscription for the entire period of study, if they meet the following criteria:
- study full-time or dual-time;
- receive a consecutive first higher education.
