Moldova and Great Britain entered into a security agreement – UNIAN
The countries have entered into a readmission agreement to ensure the return to Moldova of its citizens who are illegally in Britain.
Moldova has signed a security and defense partnership agreement with the UK. Reuters reports this.
It is noted that for Britain the goal of the agreement is to expand cooperation between the two countries and strengthen Moldova’s resistance to external threats. British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy noted a significant influx of Ukrainian refugees into Moldova after the Russian invasion began.
“Being next to Ukraine, Moldovans daily experience the consequences of Russian aggression, imperialism and pressure,” he said.
