Moldova recognizes the Russian military aggression against Ukraine and hybrid attacks as the main threats to its security.
The Parliament of Moldova voted to adopt the National Defense Strategy for 2024-2034. It describes the country’s key steps to respond to various threats, including aggression from Russia, Radio Europa Liberă Moldova reports.
It is noted that Moldova recognizes Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine and hybrid attacks as the main threats to its security. The Strategy states that the greatest risk is the possible transfer of hostilities to the Odessa region, which will open a corridor to the unrecognized Transnistria.
