More than 3,900 New Year trees were exported from the Kirov region

The regional Rosselkhoznadzor said that 4.7 times more trees were exported from our region in 2024 than in 2023. The trees were sent to the Rostov, Voronezh, Moscow regions and the Republic of North Ossetia.

Before shipping, New Year's beauties undergo quarantine phytosanitary control, since the Kirov region is a quarantine zone for forest pests. The export of fir trees is permitted only with certificates confirming their safety. On November 11, 2024, the Rosselkhoznadzor Office monitored the shipment of 2,600 fir trees and issued five quarantine certificates.
