Mysterious drones were flying over the USA
Government officials are demanding a detailed explanation from the intelligence services as to who launched these aircraft.
In recent weeks, mysterious drones have been spotted in New Jersey and on the East Coast of the United States, causing a wave of questions and concern among local residents and politicians, writes the Associated Press.
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has asked President Joe Biden to clarify the situation, and new Senator Andy Kim has been personally involved in drone surveillance. At the same time, federal agencies, including the FBI, Pentagon and FAA, note that these drones do not pose a threat to national security or public safety. An FBI spokesman stated:
“The public's concern is understandable, but I think there was a slight overreaction.”
