Nutritionist Maggie Moon named 16 foods that are best not frozen – otherwise they may lose taste and texture.

Thus, the following products cannot be frozen:

Leafy greens: Due to its high water content, its texture becomes soft.

Fresh fruits and vegetables: freezing may result in deterioration in quality.

Fresh herbs: When defrosted, they become soft and lose their attractive appearance.

Eggs: Freezing in the shell can cause cracks and deterioration in texture.
