National selection for Eurovision 2025 – TESLENKO refused to participate in the competition – UNIAN
The public company has already terminated the contract with the performer.
Ukrainian singer Alexander Teslenko, better known as TESLENKO, who was longlisted for the National selection for Eurovision 2025, said that he does not want to participate in the competition. The artist will not fight for the right to become the tenth finalist and represent Ukraine on the international stage.
As Suspilne Eurobachennya reports, representatives of the performer contacted the organizing committee and stated that TESLENKO would not participate in the national selection next year. The organizing committee terminated the contract with Alexander, and now 10 participants who were not included in the shortlist are fighting for a place in the final. We are talking about BRYKULETS, ENLEO, FIЇNKA, GRISANA, MON FIA, Ranrawi, Starykova Hrystyna, YAGODY, MUAYAD and “Listen to Sasha”. So far the artist has not commented on his decision.
