The details of the scandalous situation became known, when a Mercedes driver occupied a parking space intended for the car of a person with disabilities at a gas station in the village of Stoyanka, Kyiv region. During the conflict, the Mercedes driver first showed the war veteran, who lost both legs, an obscene gesture, and then, addressing himself, said: “What now, that you are disabled… What, are you human?”
War veteran Artem Hrebet described the situation on his page in the social network as follows: “At first, the driver refused to communicate. I started filming situations – obscene symbols began to be shown in my direction. I was in shorts, where it is clearly visible that I am a person with a disability due to the war, not I have two legs. I'm going to sneeze at it.”
