The UK announced the introduction of new sanctions against companies providing trade in Russian oil. 20 vessels of the “shadow fleet” were also subject to restrictions.

Bloomberg writes that financial restrictions on oil trading firms 2Rivers DMCC and 2Rivers Pte Ltd. will reduce Russia's oil revenues and drain Vladimir Putin's war chest. These two companies were “key links in securing trade in Putin's precious oil.”
