New Year holidays 2024-2025 will no longer be the same

The Russian Ministry of Labor announced changes to the schedule of weekends and holidays for 2024-2025 in order to optimize the working time and rest of citizens.

Extended New Year holidays

Residents of Russia will have a vacation from December 29, 2024 to January 8, 2025, spending ten days with family and friends. This will allow you to fully celebrate the New Year celebrations and prepare for the new working year.

May holidays in a new way

The May holidays will be divided into two periods: from 1 to 4 May and from 8 to 11 May. This will allow Russians to celebrate Spring and Labor Day and Victory Day.

Weekend calendar for 2025

The Ministry of Labor has approved the following list of days off for 2025:
