New Year holidays 2024-2025 will not be the same

The Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation has approved a new schedule of holidays and weekends for 2024 and 2025.

According to the new schedule, the New Year holidays in 2025 will last from December 29, 2024 to January 8, 2025. This will provide citizens with the opportunity to spend more time with their families and loved ones.

The May holidays will be divided into two stages: from 1 to 4 May and from 8 to 11 May. This division will allow us to celebrate both Spring and Labor Day and Victory Day.

In addition, December 31, 2025 is declared a day off, which will provide an opportunity to prepare for the New Year celebrations.

There will be several official holidays in 2025:

– from January 1 to January 7 – New Year holidays;

– from February 22 to 23 – Defender of the Fatherland Day;

– from 8 to 9 March – International Women's Day;

– from May 1 to May 4 – Spring Day and…
