Kazakh fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov conducted an unusual sparring, Sports.kz reports.
Instagram Dar Team posted a video of Rakhmonov jokingly punching a man in a bear costume, captioning it: “New Year’s sparring. I guess I didn’t like the gifts.”
As for the official fights of Shavkat Rakhmonov (19-0), this year he had only one fight, since he was recovering from various injuries for a long time. On December 7, Rakhmonov fought with Irishman Ian Garry (15-1) and defeated him by unanimous decision. Shavkat's next fight will be for the UFC welterweight title – against the current champion, American fighter Belal Muhammad (24-3).
