A New Year's table will cost Ukrainians nearly 4,000 hryvnias. This is provided if you cover it with red fish and caviar.
Oleg Pendzyn, a member of the Economic Discussion Club, said this on the air of “KYIV24”.
According to him, the prices of products, compared to last year, have increased by approximately 27-28%. Sausages by 10%, and vegetables, which are the main ingredients of salads, by 60-70%. Potatoes became more expensive than last year.
“This is without exotics. Without red fish, without caviar. If you put these goodies, it will be approximately 4,000 hryvnias. I am absolutely sure that Ukrainians will set the table for the New Year in full, as they want, and welcome it as it has always been done, regardless of the fact that there is a war on the street,” says Pendzin.
