New Year's weekend will be shifted – the situation in the country is to blame: will it be possible to relax in January 2025

The Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation announced significant adjustments to the schedule of holidays and weekends for 2024–2025, causing active discussions among the country's population.

According to the department, these changes are aimed at optimizing the work schedule and improving the standard of living of citizens. However, the effectiveness of these measures will only be clear over time, since their impact on the economy and labor productivity is ambiguous and requires in-depth analysis.

One of the key innovations will be the extension of the New Year's holiday in 2025.
