An Earth-sized planet in a star system that is very similar to our solar system may have an atmosphere. This is evidenced by new research that was carried out using the James Webb Space Telescope, Forbes writes.
Specifically, in 2017, NASA discovered that the cool star Trappist 1 has seven potentially Earth-like rocky planets orbiting its star, including three in the not-so-hot and not-so-cold “life zone.”
