Nike showed its first sneakers entirely printed on a 3D printer – UNIAN

Nike is embracing technology by teaming up with 3D-printed footwear specialist Zellerfeld to release the Air Max 1000, its first fully 3D-printed sneaker. The Verge writes about this.

The Air Max 1000 design is an updated version of the iconic Air Max 1. It debuted in 1987 as Nike's first sneaker with an air-cushioned heel. This element is also retained on the Air Max 1000, and while the air cushion itself isn't 3D printed, the rest of the shoe is made from a single flexible material.
