North Korean soldiers kill themselves to avoid being captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces
According to the White House, in the past week alone, North Korea has lost 1,000 troops killed and wounded in the war against Ukraine.
Among the DPRK soldiers fighting on the side of Russia against Ukraine, significant losses were recorded, as well as cases of suicide. Serviceman Kirill Sazonov spoke about this.
“Soldiers are killing themselves rather than surrendering to Ukrainian troops, probably out of fear of reprisals against their families in North Korea if they are captured,” the soldier noted.
He also recalled that, according to the White House, in the last week alone, North Korea lost 1,000 soldiers killed and wounded in the war unleashed by the Russian Federation.
