North Korean soldiers suffered losses in battles in the Kursk region

The Pentagon has data indicating losses among North Korean soldiers, both killed and wounded.

North Korean soldiers probably took part in hostilities in the territory of the Kursk region in Russia. The US believes that there is evidence of their losses.

This was stated by the spokesman of the US Department of Defense, General Patrick Ryder, Sky News reports.

“We believe that the North Korean military took part in the fighting in Kursk … we have data that indicates losses among them, both killed and wounded,” Ryder said.

The general added that the US currently does not have accurate information on the number of dead or wounded from North Korea.

It will be recalled that earlier the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that on December 14, the joint North Korean-Russian contingent lost about 200 people in Kurshchyna.
