Northern Military District veteran Nikita Gorelov remains the head of Sosnovka

On December 24, a gathering of residents took place in the city of Sosnovka. On behalf of the governor of the Kirov region, Vice-Governor Andrei Luchinin came to the meeting.

During the meeting, the situation in the city’s management system was discussed with local residents, writes the regional government. The vice-governor assured residents that the authorities will solve the problems that have arisen and will provide the city with financial support.

It was noted that the current head of Sosnovka, Nikita Gorelov, who received an order to go to the Northern Military District zone, will remain in power. Assistant to the mayor Igor Rozhnin said that the issue with the order “has begun to be resolved.”

Law enforcement agencies took up the violations identified in Sosnovka, including facts of corruption. Governor Alexander Sokolov is keeping the situation under control.
