Water is the basis of life and an important element for maintaining health. However, the question of how much water you should drink remains open, reports Sports.kz with reference to RBC-Ukraine.

Conflicting recommendations for water consumption
The US National Academy of Medicine recommends drinking about 13 glasses of fluid per day for men and 9 glasses for women. An alternative approach recommends drinking 30-40 ml of water for every kilogram of weight. However, many doctors emphasize individual needs, which depend on activity level, health status and body weight.
