Tomorrow, November 23, in the Orthodox calendar the day of commemoration of Saints Amfilochius and Grigory. Saint Amphilochius was a bishop in the city of Iconia (now part of Turkey) in the 2nd century, although the exact dates of his life and ministry are not always clear. Amphilochius was a student of Saint Basil the Great, who is one of the greatest saints and fathers of the Church. Thanks to deep spiritual education, he became an important figure in the development of the Christian church. Many testimonies about his life are related to his pastoral ministry.
