Nuclear generation can become a guarantee of avoiding critical scenarios in the energy sector this winter. This was stated by Elena Pavlenko, president of the DiXi Group analytical center.

She pointed to the key role of nuclear energy in ensuring energy stability of Ukraine during the winter period.

“I want to remind you that we have nuclear generation, which is 7+ GW, 7.7 GW, on which we still have to go through the winter. If nuclear generation operates at full capacity, then this is to a certain extent a guarantee that We won’t have the apocalyptic scenarios that we can hear now,” Pavlenko said.
